Caprarola - Italian Movie Trips

Built in the shape of a pentagon, the Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola is almost perfectly symmetrical, with two main doorways, one atop the other and connected by diamond shaped staircases on either side. Inside, frescoes of 16-th century maps cover the walls. Not far away in the town of Bomarzo you'll find a park full of sculptured monsters built by a monomaniacal prince from the 16th century.
